Clarity
In this part of the site you are going to view under a gemological microscope every clarity grade from Internally Flawless to I-3 and everything in between. The more you look at diamonds the more familiar you'll get with em. Learn to expect what to see when a jeweler tells you you're getting an SI1. Here on this site you will be viewing what a GIA certified SI1 (and everything else) looks like under the scope. You will also get a chance to examine the very controversial "clarity enhanced diamonds" under a scope as well and learn how to detect them. Cut
If you've done any kind of shopping at all for a diamond, it's most likely you may have been to a few stores that are carrying what seems to be similar qualities, but WOW is there a difference between the prices you've been hearing! Most jewelers in stores that you walk into and talk about diamonds with will mention little or nothing when it comes to the "cut". Most at best only mention the various "shapes". Not only will you get an overview of all the shapes, including the most recent and newest cuts on the market, but you are also going to learn how the quality of the cut of a stone can affect its value BY UP TO 40%. You'll get more info here than most jewelers will give you. It's time to blow the lid off of cut and give you, in laymen's terms, an understanding that will really be an eye-opener for you.
